Repair Work in Marbella: A Cracked Imprinted Driveway, Step by Step
This villa in Marbella had a grey, stone-pattern imprinted concrete driveway, a carport under a reed-roofed pergola and a garage apron, all faded and cracked. We cleaned it, filled the cracks, cut in the edges and recoloured it, and the photos show each stage.
What state was the driveway in before the repair?
The imprinted concrete had lost its colour and shine, and the stone pattern looked flat and chalky. Cracks crossed the driveway, and the garage apron in front of the garage looked worn.

How were the cracks dealt with?
After the whole area was pressure washed, the cracks were filled before any colour went on, and the edges were masked where needed. Repairing first is what stops the cracks from showing straight back through the new coating.

How was the colour applied around the pergola posts?
The borders along the walls and the pergola posts were cut in by brush first, so the line stays neat where a roller cannot reach. Then the first strips of colour went down across the faded surface.

What does the finished surface look like?
The driveway, carport and garage apron now share one deep, glossy, even tone, and the filled cracks are now covered by the new colour. If your own driveway looks like the before photos, send us yours.
